Couple of weeks ago, this was littered with computers, monitors, incessant cables, backup drives, and a pile of papers. I got rid of all that in one fell swoop — moving all the stuff I didn’t need regularly to a book rack in my small study. The result is this simple setup, which lets me focus, sketch ideas, and generally feel like there’s room to do some work.
The desk is Galant, coupled with a Highchair — both adjusted to suit my sitting posture. I use a corner of my desk for books of reference that I like within the stretch of my arm. They’re held together by two stainless steel clips. The only other electronic hardware I have there, aside from the portable computer, is a scanner.
